Obituary of Muriel Deana Wakelin

Peacefully entered into rest in her 96th year on Sunday, October 30, 2016 at the Lakeview Manor in Beaverton. Muriel (nee Petzold), beloved wife of the late Oliver Wakelin and good friend of the late Reg Cornish. Loved mother of Olive Crowder, Carl Wakelin, Joyce Allin and Brian Wakelin. Predeceased by sisters Edna Delyea and Rhoda Mitchoff. Cherished by sisters Reta Warlich and Anna Keller. Dearly remembered by her many grandchildren and great grandchildren. A special thank-you to all the staff at Lakeview Manor for all their loving care of Muriel over the last seven years. The family of Muriel Wakelin will receive friends at the Thorne Funeral Home, 109 Laidlaw Street South in Cannington (705-432-2672) on Thursday, November 17th from 1 p.m. until time of Service at 2 p.m. Interment Cedar Vale Cemetery in Cannington.
