Peacefully, on Tuesday January 17, 2017 at the Bon Air Nursing Home in Cannington, at age 85. Ken Battersby, beloved husband of Lorraine (nee Dickenson) and the late Jean (nee Bailey). Loved father of Thomas (deceased) and his wife Julie and step-father of Douglas Claughton and his wife Maureen, Michael Claughton and his wife Jennifer and Julie MacNeil and her husband Duane. Loving grandfather of Lucas, Cooper, Elysha, Andrew, Leah-May, Rylyn, Austin, Owen and Brooklyn. Ken will be missed by all of his extended family and friends.
The family of Ken Battersby will receive friends at the THORNE FUNERAL HOME, 109 Laidlaw Street South in Cannington (705-432-2672) on Saturday, January 21st from 10 – 11 a.m. A Service to Celebrate his life will be held in the Chapel at 11 a.m. A Private interment will take place at a later date.
