I just found out today that Enid had past away. My thoughts go out to all of you. Enid was a wonderful friend to my mother Muriel Holliday. Mum and Dad spent many Saturday nights playing cards into the late hours while we slept on the sofa or the floor once we were too tired to play anymore. Herb had a wonderful laugh and he saw the funny side of most everything. A visit to the Puckrin farm was a highlight for all of my family. Good friends, great food and kind fellowship. Enid was the last one living from the circle of friends who bonded in their teens and kept in touch for so many years. Enid was always gracious and full of life. She will be missed. I last saw your Mom at the Pinedale Church Christmas Carol Sing this past Christmas. I let Enid know she has always reminded me of my own late Grandma -Grace Snoddon. Enid replied that it was maybe because she was such good friends with my Grandma. I always enjoyed seeing your Mom at the Pinedale Church Christmas Carol Sing as she would always hold my hand the entire time while we talked. I will truly miss that. I took some really nice photos of your Mom from the Pinedale Carol Sing this past Christmas and I will make sure I will get those photos to Jayne. My heartfelt condolences go out to all Enid's family and friends. Enid was a truly remarkable and loving lady !!!

Dear Paul, Jayne, Lisa, Mark and families,
Our deepest sympathy goes out to you all at this time. Your Mom and Dad were two of my Mom's favourite "cousins", they went back a long way and always very much enjoyed their times together. Your Mom was always welcoming to us, the Ritchie girls, when we travelled together, there was always laughter, good food, wonderful swims, sometimes shopping, boat trips or visits to other towns.
The photo of your Mom is just how I remember her, a lovely smile, always positive and kind. She was a wonderful person and we know she was a wonderful Mother to you all. She always spoke proudly of all her children and grandchildren, We know how greatly she will be missed.

I was so saddened to hear of your Mom's passing. She lived next door to my Mom, Elma, at West Shore. I had noticed her door closed and felt that she was having problems. I have enjoyed many lovely visits with your Mom since she came to West Shore. She has had a long and well lived life but will be missed. May warm and happy memories comfort you at this sad time.

My condolences to the Puckrin family. I have so many memories of Enid from an early childhood as neighbours until adult hood when we were once again neighbours. Enid was like a grandmother to me and I will miss her dearly. Thank you Enid for the many talks, walks in the bush, fudge at Halloween, cookies, recipes, cribbage games, swims at the pond, and much more. Thank you for being so kind to my family for all these years. You were more then a neighbour, you were family. We love you Enid may you rest in peace.

As I look at the pure white snow capped mountains here in Alberta this morning, I remember Enid saying many times [oh how I love those mountains] so this morning Enid, I look at them with you in mind, and the stories you told me about you and Herb driving the Longview highway threw the foothills on route to your friends.
