Obituary of Floyd Elgie Drinkwater

Entered into rest peacefully surrounded by his family at his daughter’s home in Manilla on Friday, July 28, 2017, at age 84. Floyd Drinkwater of Cannington, beloved husband of the late Bernice “Bonnie” (nee Rowell). He is survived by his daughters Lynda (Bill) Mahaffy, Patti (Rodney) Currie and Cathy Drinkwater (Mike). Loving grandfather of Jamie (Chris) Smith, Sarah Currie, Ian Currie, Scott (Jacqui), Krista, Jenna Gilchrist (Jon) and Will MacKinnon (Sarah).  Predeceased by his parents Elgie and Dorothy Drinkwater.

The family of Floyd Drinkwater will receive friends at the Thorne Funeral Home, 109 Laidlaw Street South in Cannington (705-432-2672) on Tuesday, August 1st from 7 - 9 p.m.
