I adored Jennie. Jennie was my husband (Sweetie)'s neighbour and he really liked her and her husband, Walter and the mouthy dachshund Connie. Jennie was thrilled when Sweetie announced he was marrying and I was a farmer and thus, we would be building a barn. The barn building turned out to be a neighbourhood battle as nobody, but dear Jennie, could or would understand that a barn with 20 goats would not be threat to life as it was. Jennie stood by us from day one and she was right there with us at our victory pizza celebration in Cannington after. Moving out of the area to a bigger property that would have a bigger barn meant leaving Jennie and that was the hardest part...saying good-bye to a neighbour that lived the "love thy neighbour" commandment. Jennie was a kind, dear lady with a big sense of humour and she always talked about her Diana, Junior and of her late husband. I said she was the only female allowed to kiss my Sweetie and whenever she saw him she took full advantage of that. Jennie was the best neighbour anyone could ever ask for...God Bless you friend/Neighbour Jennie.
