Entered into rest peacefully at Lakeridge Health in Oshawa on Wednesday, October 24th, 2012. William 'Bill' Rodney Taylor, in his 70th year, was the beloved husband for 45 years of Elaine Taylor (nee Reid) of Sunderland. loving father of Adam Taylor (and girl friend Nadine Spence). Dear brother of Lynn (Paul) Brethour, Bob (Terry) Harrington, Cliff (Sandra) Lumley, Candy (Brad) Jones, Chuck (Marguerite) Harrington, Pat Harrington, Bud (Patty) Harrington, Lee (Shirley) Harrington and sister-in-law Darlene Harrington. Dear brother-in-law of John Reid, Helen Bell, Hazel Ferguson, Jim Reid, Donny (Barb) Reid, Les (Cathy) Reid, Donna Stewart, Shirley (George) Waines and Gus (Betty) Reid. Dearly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by two brothers Russ and Butch Harrington, one sister Marjorie Goodman and one sister-in-law Marjorie Deyell. Friends are invited to call at St. Andrews United, 10 Church St.N. in Sunderland on Saturday, November 3rd, 2012 from 11:00 am until time of Memorial Service at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to The Durham Regional Cancer Centre at Lakeridge Oshawa Hospital Foundation, would be gratefully appreciated and can be made through www.thornefuneralhome.ca
