Obituary of William Henry Elburg

Suddenly, with his family by his side, on Friday, February 2, 2018, at his home in Cannington, at age 87. Bill Elburg, beloved husband of Doreen (nee Southern) for 61 years. Loved father of John (Cheryl), Jane (Steve Kydd), and Jim (Colleen). Loving grandpa of Travis, Gar (Rebecca), and James. Great grandpa of Levi, and Kailynn. Dear brother of Marie and her husband Harold Davey and brother-in-law of Jean Southern. Will be missed by his nephews Stephen and Bruce and his neice Sylvia.

 

The family of William Elburg will receive friends at the St. James United Church Vroomanton (Corner of Sideroad 17A and Concession 7 Brock) on Friday, Febuary 9, 2018 from from  2 – 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. A Service to celebrate his life will be held in the  Church on Saturday, February 10th at 2 p.m. A Masonic Service will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday.

 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made by cheque to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario. Memories, photos and condolences may be shared at www.thornefuneralhome.ca
