Helen Speedie-Jewell 38 year employee with the Township of Brock. Helen entered into rest peacefully with family by her side at her home near Sunderland, on Tuesday, November 20th, 2012. Helen Ada Suzanne Speedie-Jewell, in her 61st year, was the beloved wife of David jewell. Loving mother of Brent (Michelle) Speedie. Devoted grama of Jorja. Cherished daughter of Marion Speedie of Beaverton,and the late Harold Speedie. Dear sister of Bill (Pat) Speedie and Bryan (Doris) Speedie. Dearly remembered by five nieces, Crystal, Jennifer, Kelly, Candice, Kara, and one nephew Jake. Friends are invited to call at the Thorne Funeral Home, 98 River Street in Sunderland, on Thursday, November 22nd from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Further visitation will take place on Friday, November 23rd, 2012 at St. Andrews United Church, 10 Church St. N. in Sunderland from 11:00 am until time of Celebration Service at 1:00 pm.Interment of cremated remains will take place at Sunderland Cemetery at a later date. As a remembrance, donations to the Regional Cancer Centre at Oshawa General , would be appreciated.Hospital Foundation.
