Obituary of Grace Luella Medd

Passed away peacefully, on Friday, May 11, 2018 at Uxbridge Cottage Hospital, at age 78. Grace (nee Rusnell) was the beloved wife of Lawrence Medd for 57 years. Loving mother of the late Valerie Medd-Sertage (Gus) and Terry (Sarah). Dearly loved grandma to Michelle, Samantha, Alexandra, Nicholas and Jennifer. Grace will also be sadly missed by her siblings Dorothy Kent (Sidney), Catherine Goldstone (Donald), Marion Lamers (John), the late Carl Rusnell (Maureen) and Gloria Rusnell (Ivan Disney).

The family of Grace Medd will receive friends at the THORNE FUNERAL HOME, 98 River Street in Sunderland (705-432-2672) on Tuesday, May 22nd  from 2 - 4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A  visitation will take place at St. Andrews United Church in Sunderland on Wednesday, May 23rd from 10 - 11 a.m. with a Service to Celebrate her life at 11 a.m. Private interment Sunderland Cemetery.

If desired, memorial donations may be made by cheque to the Canadian Cancer Society or St. Andrews United Church Sunderland. Memories, photos and condolences may be shared at www.thornefuneralhome.ca
