Obituary of Norma Jacqueline Southern

Passed away peacefully at Lakeview Manor in Beaverton on Wednesday, September 19, 2018. Survived by her loving husband Harry Southern of Sunderland. Born on April 16, 1925, Norma was the cherished daughter of the late Herbert and Mae Skinner of Cannington. She was predeceased by her brother Gordon “Bud” Skinner of Cannington. Proud mother to Richard Madge and his wife Marjorie of Calgary and Wilfred Madge (deceased) and his wife Anne of Calgary. Step-mother to Richard Southern (deceased) of Sunderland, Lorene (Robert) Marquis of Sunderland, Kathryn Stemp of Uxbridge, Douglas Southern of Oshawa and Timothy (Kellie) Southern of Sunderland. Nana to grandsons Mark Madge of Calgary and David (Andrea) Madge of Saskatoon; as well as Harry’s many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

 

A celebration of Norma’s life will held at St. Andrew’s United Church in Sunderland on Saturday, October 13th at 11 a.m. with visitation one hour prior.

 

Private interment Cedar Vale Cemetery in Cannington.
