Obituary of Kaye Robert Edwin Evans

It is with very heavy hearts that the Evans family announces the peaceful passing of their beloved Kaye Evans, on Friday, December 14, 2018, at their family farm, at age 83. Beloved husband of Audrey (nee Gibson) for 60 years. Loved father of Dale (Chris Evans) and Brian (Jackie Shinn). Loving grandfather of Jason, Amy (Neil Bramley), Kasey (Steve Schewaga), and Justin (Darcee Shinn) and great grandfather of Archer, Bowen, Bryson, Danika, Camden, Kane, Tyson and Tate. Dear brother-in-law of Glenn Gibson (Judy). Kaye will be fondly remembered for his quick wit, wonderful sense of humour, endless friendship, joy of farming and love of family. He will be sadly missed by everyone who knew him.

The Family of Kaye Evans will receive friends at the THORNE FUNERAL HOME, 98 River Street in Sunderland (705-432-2672) on Thursday, December 20th from 12 – 2 p.m. A Service to celebrate his life will be held in the Chapel at 2 p.m. Interment Pinedale Cemetery, Sunderland.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made by cheque to the Pinedale Church or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario. Memories, photos and condolences may be shared at www.thornefuneralhome.ca
