Obituary of Gordon "Ray" Johnson

Peacefully, at the Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay on Thursday, November 14, 2019, at age 80. Ray Johnson, loving partner of Denise Marsh (nee Heaps) for 41 years. Loved father and step-father of Sean Johnson (Joanna), Todd Johnson (Dawn), Dana Swarts (Cobus), Phil Marsh (Ann) and Christi Lindensmith (Glen). Dearly remembered Grampy of Emma, Candace, Jack, Rebekah, Holly (Kyle), James and Jenipher-Ann. Survived by his sister June Waterton and sister-in-law Shirley Johnson. Predeceased by his brother Vern Johnson and his sister Leona Hindle and her husband Lloyd and brother-in-law Roy Waterton.

The family of Ray Johnson will receive friends at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #141, 104 River Street in Sunderland on Saturday, November 30^th from 1 – 4 p.m. for a Celebration of his life. Interment McLeans Cemetery in Bognor in May of 2020. If desired, memorial donations may be made by cheque to the Brock Community Care in Cannington or the Alzheimer Society of Durham.
