'Gordo' as all us guys knew him from the Tuesday night Cannington Over 45 Hockey League; was a great, sincere, generous, caring and humorous person to be around even if he was playing against you. I recall when he came into the league being the fall of 2010; stating that he had not played hockey in over 20 years, had recently bought his equipment, most of it brand new. He looked awkward at first; but gradually over the years became a A+ player who also in later years became a great goalie.

We are so sorry for your loss. I have many memories of years spent with Gord, beginning with being young boys on bicycles and then young men racing motocross. His number "483" from his green Kawasaki, will always be remembered. We reminisced this summer of the "good old days" being some of the best memories ever. May your memories of Gord bring you much peace in the days to come.

Gord and I have known each other since we were young children and am so glad we reconnected via Facebook the last couple of years. Gord is a great guy and till be truly missed. Paula and family please accept my deepest condolences.
