Peacefully, at his home in Sunderland with his dear friend Julia by his side on Wednesday, October 28, 2020, at age 68. Wayne Shier devoted friend of Julia Kirk of Sunderland. Loved step-father of Faith Kirk (Paul) of Barrie and Joseph Kirk (Chantal) of Innisfil. Loving grandfather of Kaylynn. Dear brother of Paul Shier (Gloria) of Sunderland, Ralph Shier (Anne) of Goodwood and Roger Shier (Lise) of Greely. Predeceased by his parents Ross W. Shier and Aileen P. Shier (nee Warren). Wayne will be missed by all of his extended family and friends.
Private arrangements have been entrusted to the THORNE FUNERAL HOME, 98 River Street in Sunderland (705-432-2672). Interment Sunderland Cemetery.
