Obituary of Edith Smallwood

Edith Smallwood Entered into rest peacefully with family by her side at the Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay on Thursday, February 28th, 2013. Edith Margaret Smallwood (nee Pugh), in her 86th year, was the beloved wife of the late Calvin George Smallwood (2008). Loving mother of Larry (Whilma) Smallwood of Oakwood, Leanne (David) Harding of Pefferlaw and Linda (Alan) Balsdon of Sunderland. Dearly remembered by her grandchildren Jennifer (Don), Kristin, Wayne (Jennifer), Adam (Melissa), Bradley, Emily, Jonathan, Benjamin, Matthew, Elizabeth, Scott and her great grandchildren Dylan, Abigale, Jacob, Jesse, Lyndsay, Piper, Calvin and Madalyn. Dear sister of Greta (George) Alsop (both predeceased), Verna (Roy) McDonald (both predeceased), Walter (Lillis) Pugh, Percy (Jean) Pugh (both predeceased), Edna Wallace (Jack predeceased), Gladys (Mike) McLinden and Donald Pugh (Darlene predeceased). Dear sister-in-law of Shirley Scott (Harold predeceased). Family and friends are invited to call at the Thorne Funeral Home, 109 Laidlaw St.S. in Cannington, on Sunday, March 3rd from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service in the Chapel on Monday, March 4th, 2013 at 1:00 pm Interment Stone Church Cemetery near Beaverton.
