I just heard of your mom's passing today. So very sorry for your loss, and the loss to the Vroomanton and Sunderland area. Joyce and Roy were good neighbours when my family moved up here from Brougham. Even after they moved to town, the friendship was kept up. Joyce was always very kind and generous to our family. She will be greatly missed by many.

I'm sorry, Wayne, but I just saw that your Mom had passed away. Our Mothers were cousins and I had a lovely visit with her 6 years ago at my Mom's (Verna Hawtin [nee Sackville])funeral. I am sorry for your loss. She had a long life but we always hate to say "Good bye" to our loved ones.

Loved to listen to Aunt Joyce talk about family. She claimed once that the 2 youngest siblings were inseparable. The next oldest to her, my mother, & the next one 'up the line' seemed to be together lots & Joyce felt left out. Sad to think about, 'til you realize that despite all that she grew up to be an amazingly happy, well-adjusted person. A truly wonderful lady. I will miss her greatly, but am comforted by the times we spent together.

Aunt Joyce was a very special lady and an inspiration. My Mom, Gail Goldie shared many memories, stories and l have a few of my own. Heaven's gates opened their doors to a beautiful Angel who will be reunited with all her family. l am sure waiting with open arms was My Grandpa and her big brother, Leon. He always had a soft spot for her. We will miss your birthday milestone get togethers. RIP Aunt Joyce xxoo
