Entered into rest suddenly at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance on Friday, March 8th, 2013. Alice Dian Joyce (nee Roots), formerly of Arthur, late of Merlin Ontario, in her 66th year, was the beloved wife of Dr. Jim Joyce. Alice and Jim met at school and eventually got married in Cannington, ON. Cherished daughter of Theresa Roots and the late Renald Roots. Honourary mother of Veronika and fiance`Marcel. Dear sister of Ann (Donald) Logan and Jim (Lois) Roots. Dear sister-in-law of Linda (Steve) Morley, Tom (Janet) Joyce and Bob (Sue) Joyce. Dearly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to call at the Thorne Funeral Home, 109 Laidlaw St.S. in Cannington on Saturday, March 16, 2013 from 1:00 pm until time of Memorial Service at 2:00 pm. Spring Interment at CedarVale Cemetery. As a remembrance, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Parkinson's Society, would be appreciated.
