My first year at MUN, Gerry and I were there together and we ran into each other quite regularly. My one and only trip over to Bell Island came from a ride from Gerry and one of his buddies. I think it was a Sunday afternoon and we drove around Bell Island all afternoon before heading back to the ferry!
Gerry was always engaging and as was stated loved a good laugh and a game of cards. Gerry, rest in peace.
To you Judy and the whole family, our condolences.

Sending my condolences to Gerry’s dear wife Judy and to the Neville family. My cousin Gerry was a kind and generous man. He had a mischievous grin, great sense of humour and sharp mind. Playing cards at Aunt Violet’s house was always a fun event when Gerry and Judy were visiting the Rock. Gerry and Judy took me to the Woodbine race track in Toronto years back - lots of laughs. Unfortunately I did not spent much time with the Neville "clan". However, Gerry and Judy did spend a few days with us in PEI.
