What a gentle, loving soul. My condolences to all her family. I love this photo of her with Mom in July of 2016 when they were together for several days. Aunt Lila was such a hard worker....I remember the massive garden she and gramma had near Finch. And she was very handy with a quilting or sewing needle. She made our daughter Colleen an adorable red teddy bear when she was born and it was always known as “Lila Bear”. In our house I still have an African violet that she gave me many years ago, a trailing variety with pink flowers. Aunt Lila was just the most kind and generous person who would do anything for someone else before thinking of herself.

Missing our beloved grandma/great grandma who is now resting peacefully. She was such a kind, loving and beautiful person. We will forever remember her generous spirit and love of gardening. Her favourite flower was the African violet. She adored her family and we will treasure all of our memories and family time. I’m fortunate that grandma lived with us for many years while I grew up. I will always cherish having her in my life. We will miss our grandma/great grandma dearly, Misty, Sean, Gregory and Marcus. Big hugs to my dad, mom, uncle Bob and cousins.

So sorry to learn of dear cousin Lila's passing. We send our love and condolences to all. We enjoyed the beautiful photo. She was a dear soul and her loving kindnesses will be missed. I(Ron) took my first flights with Bill, I estimate 70 years ago, on his tiny plane. As we have been living in Mexico City since 1966, we don't get to visit Ontario as much as we would like. MY condolences to the family, Aunt Lila was a special lady that I adored very much. Always so gentle and kind. She was so honest and always wanted to help you. She was devoted for sure never remarried after being alone so young. Now the family is all together. God bless you Don Brownell
