Peacefully, with her husband by her side on Thursday, August 12, 2021 at the Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay, at age 88. Bernice (nee Harrison), beloved wife of Donald Johnson and the late Leonard Teatro. Loved mother of Lynn Teatro, Daniel Teatro (Mary), the late Dale Teatro and the late Kerry Lee Johnson. Loving grandmother and great-grandmother to many. Bernice will be missed by all of her extended family and her many friends.
The family of Bernice Johnson will receive friends at the THORNE FUNERAL HOME, 109 Laidlaw Street South in Cannington (705-432-2672) on Wednesday, August 18th from 12 – 2 p.m. In accordance with the directives provided by the Bereavement Authority of Ontario please contact the funeral home to schedule your visitation appointment. Wearing of masks or face coverings by everyone is mandatory. A private family service to celebrate her life by invitation only will be held at 2 p.m. Interment Necropolis Cemetery, Cannington. If desired, memorial donations can be made to Hospital for Sick Kids Foundation in Toronto, the Ross Memorial Hospital Foundation or a charity of your choice.
