Peacefully, on Sunday, August 15, 2021 at the Lakeridge Health Centre in Oshawa, at age 84. Eleanor (nee Dobson), beloved wife of the late Blane Mabee. Survived by six of her children and their spouses, many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Predeceased by one daughter and one great great granddaughter.
The family of Eleanor Mabee will receive friends at the THORNE FUNERAL HOME, 109 Laidlaw Street South in Cannington (705-432-2672) on Friday, August 20th from 2 – 4 p.m. In accordance with the directives provided by the Bereavement Authority of Ontario please contact the funeral home between 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. to schedule your visitation appointment. Wearing of masks or face coverings by everyone is mandatory. A private family service will be held on Saturday, August 21st with Rev. Les Hills officiating. Interment Sunderland Cemetery.
