Donnie was such a kind person and I have many happy memories of Donnie growing up. From swimming in the creek to fishing at the lake, Donnie was always so much fun. One of my fondest thoughts of Donnie was the gift he bought for my brother Tim when he was born. Donnie wanted to take another Tim fishing, so he bought the baby some rubber boots. I think Tim was about 6 years old before he could actually fit into them.
All my best to Kathy, David, James and cousins Carol, Ronnie, Darlene and all of their families.
I am sure Donnie is now giving big hugs to John and Dougie.

I'm proud to be Tim's Big Sister. He has had a tough go of it. His fight with cancer started 20 years ago. He was in the hospital 9/11 when the twin Towers went down and it was also his birthday. He fought hard, had some very good years and some not so good. I never heard him complain even the last few years with oxygen and a feeding tube, but I know it was hard on him and Kathy. He always had a good sense of humour. He loved his boys and was very proud of them both. He was also thrilled to be a grandpa. He will always have a special place in my heart ❤ RIP little brother

My dad was loving, hard working, funny, loyal and tough. He was a true fighter. He knocked down every health obstacle thrown his way. He was always up for a joke and knew when you needed a good laugh. He loved the outdoors, the lake and the quiet of a nighttime bonfire. I will always treasure our walks, our drives through the back roads to pick up beer cans, our fishing trips and talking about life. I love you forever.- James.
