Austin Pearse
Entered into rest at Lakeridge Health in Port Perry on Wednesday, April 3, 2013. Austin Lee Pearse, in his 101st year, was the beloved husband of the late Olive Hazel Ellis Pearse (nee Carter) (1994) and the late Verna May Pearse (nee Smith Waines) (2010). Dear father of Bruce (Sue) Pearse of Sunderland and Janet (Randy) Katchaluba of Port Hope. Grandfather of Leedell and Stephanie Pearse, Mark, Annette and Keri-Lyn Katchaluba. Dear brother of Gladys Marquardt of Minden and Mary McArthur of Stayner. Predeceased by three siblings Keith S. Pearse, R. Chester Pearse and Elda L. Skidmore. Friends are invited to call at the Thorne Funeral Home, 109 Laidlaw St.S. in Cannington, on Friday, April 5th, 2013 from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Funeral Service in the Cannington Chapel on Saturday, April 6th, 2013 at 11:00 am. Interment at Erskine Cemetery in Pickering at 3:00 pm. As a remembrance, donations to Gideons International or a Charity of your choice, would be appreciated.
