Peacefully, with family by her side and after a courageous battle with cancer on Thursday, April 28, 2022 at the Oak Ridges Hospice in Port Perry, at age 64, Heidi (nee Kurrle) passed away. Beloved wife of Steven Underwood. Loved mother of Lauralie (Paul), Karl (Rena), Mark and Richard (Michelle). Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Madison, Keegan, Kolbie, Leila, Autumn, and Grady. She will be greatly missed by her sister Monika (Steve) and her sisters-in-law Susan, Darlene (Henry) and Tina and brothers-in-law Frank (Barb) and Joe (Emily) and their extended families. She will be missed dearly by her mother-in-law Ruth Underwood.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to Dr. Merrilee Brown and all the doctors, nurses and care providers at the Oak Ridges Hospice of Durham.
The family of Heidi Underwood will receive friends at the THORNE FUNERAL HOME, 109 Laidlaw Street South in Cannington (705-432-2672) on Sunday, May 1, 2022 from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 p.m. A Service to celebrate her life will be held in the Chapel on Monday, May 2, 2022 at 11 a.m. Interment Necropolis Cemetery, Cannington.
