Daphne touched my soul very deeply as I looked after her during my years working at Sunderland Pharmacy, she was a lovely lady, strong, kind, appreciative, I always loved when she was in my presence.
Rest peacefully beautiful lady, thank you for making a treasured mark on my life .

Daphne was a true treasure and one of the lucky ones who can say they "lived" until 98. And live she did!
I loved her soft spoken laugh (complete opposite to mine) and her wonderful sense of humour. We often shared scratch tickets for our birthdays.. I would scratch half and mail it to her. She would scratch the other half and mail me back the losing ticket with an unhappy face!.
I picture her now dressed in white cotton, sitting on a cloud hanging out with the cream cheese angels, her golden halo glowing enjoying the view of us from above.
