I will always remember John asking people if they had a watch. It seemed that if you weren’t ten minutes early then to John you were late. It was good of John to stay so long with us to share this and much more wisdom. John you are missed.

My most heartfelt condolences to all who enjoyed knowing John over his lifetime in our community. John was my sponsor in The Cannington Lions Club and was the first person to officially welcome me and my family to town when we moved here in 1999. It was during a Lions Bottle Drive that John introduced himself and asked me to come out to a Lions meeting. He set the example for volunteering and giving back to your community. To say he will be missed is an understatement.
