Murray Jewell Peacefully at Princess Margaret Hospital on April 18, 2013 after a courageous battle with cancer. In his 42nd year. Beloved husband to Barbara and dedicated father to sons Connor and Reid. Survived by his father and mother Ross and Carolyn Jewell and father-in-law and mother-in-law Walter and Elizabeth Brooks, all of Sunderland, Ontario. Cherished brother to Steve (Judi), David and Angela (MJ). Loved brother-in-law to Julie (Ewen). Murray will be fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews:Tyler and Benjamin, Kyle, Kendell, Campbell, Emma and Megan. Murray will be remembered as a professional at CI Financial, as a hockey coach and as a dear friend to many. Visitation at St. Andrews United Church, 10 Church St.N. in Sunderland on Monday, April 22nd, from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Funeral Service in the United Church on Tuesday, April 23rd, 2013 at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to a Charity of your choice or giving on Murray's behalf to the REACT Foundation dedicated to rare thyroid cancer research.
