Passed away peacefully with her family by her side, on Sunday September 18, 2022, at age 78. Predeceased by her parents George and Velma Smockum.  Special daughter of George and Myrtle (Honey) Staley - both deceased. Beloved mother of Darlene Harris (Bill), Tracy McPhaden (late James), and Jennifer Gunnell (Lloyd Harper). Dear Gram of Emily Harris (Chris Hartle), Katie Harris (Cody Lytle), Maggie Brethour (Matt), Kevin McPhaden, Kody McPhaden (Tricia Harsell), Cole Gunnell (Ashley Stevenson), Hailey Gunnell-Harper (Bill Fountain), Chad Harper, and Jazmin Harper, and great Grammie to Maverick Harper and Marcie Hartle. Sister of Ron Staley (Carol), the late Donna Staley, Darrell Staley (Judy), the late Brad Staley, Rob Staley (Robin), and Laura Skinner (late Stirling). Joyce will be missed by her friends, relatives, and extended family in the UK.
