Obituary of Jim Joyce

Please share a memory of Jim to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

On Sunday, November 13, 2022, while holding his mother’s hand, Jimmy went to join his beloved wife Alice. Cherished son of Nora and the late Al Joyce. Brother of Linda (Steve) Barry and brother-in-law of Janet and Sue. Predeceased by his brothers Tom and Bob. Jim will be missed by his many nieces, nephews, honorary daughter Veronika, and the Dixon and Walker families. Jim was raised in Cannington and went on to build a successful dental practice with Alice in Arthur, Ontario. Countless memories were forged with Jim and Alice at their cottage in Washago. JD's last request; "Stay positive and remember the funny times".

The family of Jim Joyce will receive friends at Trinity United Church, 50 Laidlaw St. N. in Cannington on Saturday, November 19th from 12 o'clock to 2:00 p.m. A Service to celebrate his life will be held in the church at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario, the Humane Society or Parkinson's Canada. Memories photos and condolences may be shared at www.thornefuneralhome.ca
