Passed peacefully on Friday, December 2, 2022 at Oak Valley Health – Uxbridge Hospital, at age 89. Beloved husband of Bonnie Jackson of Sunderland. Dear brother of Mildred (Roman) of Toronto and Bob (Cindy) of Huntsville. Predeceased by his son Michael, and his siblings Loretta (Bob), Tom (Isabelle) and Les (Lois).

 

The family of Lionel “Sandy” Sandiland will receive friends at the THORNE FUNERAL HOME, 109 Laidlaw Street South in Cannington (705-432-2672) on Friday December 9th from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. All are welcome to attend a Masonic Service that will be held at 2:00 p.m. followed by a Service to celebrate his life. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada or the Shriners Hospital for Children.
