During the time Nora resided at William Place in Lindsay she became a dear friend to Marion Bain. Their rooms were close together and it was easy for Marion to help Nora in various ways. Marion who is in her 100th year shared that Nora was one of the closest friends she ever had and she missed her terribly when she left. I, being a care giver to Marion had the pleasure of getting to know Nora and her sweet gentle ways. She drew me a picture of a bird for Christmas 1021 and I gladly framed it to place on my bureau. Marion and I hold cherished memories of dear Nora.

I have so many memories of my Auntie Nora who was so very special to me. Every year we had a Tuck family reunion at the farm and when it was time to go my cousin Rose and I would beg our parents to let us remain at the farm. Of course Auntie Nora’s answer was SURE. Every morning I would have the best cream of wheat.
My mom who is the youngest of the Tuck sisters and one brother would tell me that she and her mother Linda would always watch out the window waiting for Nora to come home as she always stayed out later than she should. My mom said Nora was at the island or sunny side park.
My mom and I will miss her deeply

Q: What 3 words best describe Nora and why?
A: When we think of Nora, we think of her delicious cakes - even a diabetic cake for one of our priests and always a cake at the Scouting Banquets, We think of laughter - Nora always had time for a chat and often shared a humorous story. We think of Moosie, her nickname, and seeing Nora barrel down Cameron St, on her motorized scooter.
Our condolences to her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Faith, Family and Friendships came first for Nora. Love Herb and Katie Probst and Family.

Q: How did you meet Nora?
A: We met Nora through family. Right away she hugged us as if we had known each other for years. That’s 1 trait that always struck me about Nora. Her love and devotion to family. And how she was always ready for a party or a get together or a wedding. She was a feisty gal with a ready smile. RIP Nora. You’re soaring with the angels now.

My Aunt Nora was the kindest person who made everyone feel welcome and loved. Some of my best memories from my childhood were my vacations at the farm with my cousin Carol.
Aunt Nora and I loved to bake and to make ham soup together.
I will miss my Auntie Nora very much.. her spirit will live my heart forever.
I feel comfort knowing that A. Nora was welcomed with open arms by so many of her loved ones that passed before her.

She will be remembered by her last living sister Annie
They grew up in Toronto and shared a bed together and remained close with each other throughout their lives. A picture of them holding each other’s hands on the day before her passing
