I bid a fond farewell to Ms Rainey my first teacher in the one room school at Wick. Your warm smile has never left you. You taught me how to read and the love of reading remains with me to this day. I remember the lyrics to Robin in the Rain, a Kiwanis Festival song from a long time ago. Thank you for starting off my education on such a positive note. Fortunately,, I had the opportunity to tell you this in person many years ago. My condolences to the friends and family of Arlene Coates.
