A wonderful tribute to your father James. I always enjoyed the few trips I had to the farm. I have my Santa in Memory of your father. I even helped to paint some carvings all of which were very interesting. I am Georgina Bernache-Julien who worked with Margaret in Toronto for many years.

Christine is my dearest friend of over 30 years. From the beginning I knew nothing was more important than her family. Her dad was a huge presence for her and she shared many funny stories of him and also his carvings with me and come out every Christmas in my home in Calgary.

Jim was a talented member of the wednesday morning carvers. I was only able to enjoy his company for a short time but my day was always a bit brighter when he joined the carvers. A number of years ago, when I was Akela of 1st Cannington Cub Pack, I had James create a wolf head to adorn the "Staff of Akela". It was beautiful and was liked by many from surrounding scout groups.
Rest Easy, James

A few pictures to share - carving became a large part of his retirement life and mom's little gift of a carving book one Christmas 30 years ago, started it all.
