With a spirit marked by kindness and laughter, Paul blessed us with the joy of his unique camaraderie. Aware of his gentle nature and infectious optimism, we were endeared through high school memories, the mischievous shenanigans at his wedding to my sister, and bestowing upon me the privilege of Aunthood for dear Jaxon and Kennedy. Our family gatherings shimmered with Paul’s jovial essence, often accentuated by a playful water gun duel. His love remains vividly missed. Rest in peace, my cherished brother-in-law.

We are so saddended to hear of Paul's passing. Growing up together as cousins in a small town is a special thing when you are young. Camping together, sporting events, Christmas and other family get togethers listening to our fathers playing their guitars and everyone singing was very meaninful and special. Even though the years have moved us apart the fond memories last forever. Sincere condolences go out to Uncle Ted, Aunt Beth, Jenn, Jaxon, Kennedy, all other family members and the many people whose hearts were touched by Paul. Sorry we are not able to be with you today, but our hearts are with you. Paul, you will be missed but not forgotten.

I’m so sorry to hear of this sad news. I had the pleasure of working with Paul for a couple of years, as a Youth Worker colleague, until I moved on to pursue other employment in 1994.
I remember him as friendly, jovial, reliable, strong, and dedicated. He was always fun to be around and he was great with the youth that were in our charge. I recall looking forward to our work schedules lining up. As things go, people move on and can lose touch with one another. Sadly, it was not until receiving notification through our OPPA, that I realized Paul had also become a part of the OPP family.
My sincere condolences go out to all of Paul’s family, friends, and work colleagues. I’m sure a void will be forever felt and he will be sorely missed.

I met Paul when he transferred to the Orillia detachment a few years back. Paul was always beaming with pride whenever he spoke of his kids. He was always kind and helpful and would always take the time to make conversation with everyone. I always appreciated that Paul would take the time to ask me about my own kids and check in. I joked with Paul about how he always watched the black and white shows in the kitchen at work during his lunch. He would always laugh (with his big, hearty laugh) and say it's better than anything else on TV these days! Paul will be missed by his OPP family. Sending lots of love and prayers.

Sending love and light to Paul's family during this time. I had the opportunity to work with Paul at Big Brothers Big Sisters and would consider him one of my first mentors in the field. He spoke of his family everyday and loved you all. You will missed Paul.

I got to know Paul while working at the Orillia detachment. I frequently found myself driving around the community shuttling cars with Paul. I’ll always remember him talking about his kids. He would talk about his son playing lacrosse or his daughter learning to drive. He sure loved his family.
Paul was always brought a positive attitude to his work and will be deeply missed by all of us in his OPP family.
Rest in Peace my friend.

My deepest condolences to all of Paul's loved ones. My heart goes out to you.
I worked together with Paul for many years at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Kawartha Lakes-Haliburton. He had a huge impact on many young lives during that time and will be fondly remembered. He was a great team member who enjoyed helping others.
I'll always remember our weekly lunches at various local restaurants.
RIP Paul

My heart is heavy with sadness for you all. I personally didn’t know Paul well but our family, especially our grand daughter, was close with Kennedy as we shared many good times with her at dance competitions with Jennifer. Jaxson you will always remember his support with your sports. I’m sure he saw himself in your accomplishment. Kennedy, your dad was your knight in shinning armour and I know you loved him very much. I did meet him once at a dance competition and he was beaming with pride while he watch you dance. I pray that you will all find comfort in each other as time passes. Memories are what we have left. Remember them and his spirit will always be with you. RIP Paul.

Paul was larger than life at school. He was a year ahead of me at Brock High school but had this huge personality and of course his looks made him popular. I'm so in shock to learn of his death and am saddened that he's gone too soon. Rest in Peace Paul. You'll be missed.

As cousins go..growing up togther in our family were grand memories we take with us . Being a born a day apart we have a special bond that ties .
Ill miss you a great deal Paul.
Ill always remeber the camping on my Dads lot and the many beer we had together...also the time at the inter high school wrestling competition , we wrestled each others opponent by mistake when they called out " Gill " .we both went to the wrong station and found out after we mixed it up
.
As we grew older we reconnected more as cousins do...
Im sorry we cant stand together at my upcoming wedding like we planned ..but you will there in spirit. We will meet again my friend and remember we never walk this road alone. May God rest your soul and may you have peace that was needed now .
