My heart goes out to Derek’s family. You have my sincere condolences. Derek and I were together a long time ago but I always remember him fondly. He and I had two children together, one that passed away, and our daughter is now an ordained Reverend. I am very happy that he found a wonderful wife and built a lovely family. I cannot imagine the pain that you were going through. You all are in my prayers.
