Willam was the perfect child that was raised beautifully with class and surrounded by love from our family and most importantly his mother, Pamela. Pam, you made being a mother look effortless whenever I saw you with Willam. He was happy because of the love you gave him and I will forever be in awe of your strength and beauty as a mother. Sweet Willam,
I loved you with my whole heart the first time I laid eyes on you in 2007. You had storybook cuteness with that beautiful blonde hair, wide blue eyes, and your incredibly sweet nature. I loved the way you learned to talk and how you called me, “Ada.” One of the greatest joys in my life was hearing you say that for the first time.
You carried the value of family with you as you grew into an exceptional young man. You were so loved by your entire extended family. You were the best of all of us - intelligent, hilarious, caring, giving, patient, strong, and so much more. I loved hearing about your money-making plans, your educational achievements, and your quick wit. I loved hearing you sing at family gatherings (voice of an angel) and seeing you laugh.
I never could have imagined we would lose you at such a young age. There is so much more you deserved to experience, see, and do. Our world is a lesser place without you in it, though the lucky people who got to know you are better for it. Willam, I will carry you in my heart forever. I am so grateful for the precious time we had with you.

My dearest Willam,
Words seem inadequate to express the depth of my grief. These past five years, though we were apart, you were never far from my thoughts. The world has lost a bright, funny, and intelligent young man.

There is sadness in my heart for his mother, grandparents, aunts uncles cousins and friends.
Willam meant a great deal to many people. He was a special person to all who knew him. A kind heart and soul. He will be sorrily missed.

How can this be? That sweet little blue-eyed, blond, baby boy with his invented secret language of sounds and gestures that his doting mother would translate into volumes of meaning for others, that dear little boy who would point at everyone around the room when he performed his latest accomplishment, saying, "Him, him, him," to ensure you were applauding appropriately, making his grandmother laugh with his phone calls reporting some perceived injustice on the part of his doting mother, his boyish enjoyment of colonic rumblings and the largest of potato chips in the bag, exclaiming "Whoa!" each time he fished one out to show you...primary student with interests in music and puppies and how things work as his sense of humour blossomed and he learned exactly how to tease by zeroing in on insecurities like his grandmother's height, all the while her biggest defender...his abiding interest in physics and mechanics.. nurtured as he absorbed a lifetime of knowledge on such topics from his grandfather, Al, during Covid years and becoming Al's best friend and fellow garage monkey...how can this be that he grew to be so tall and strong and handsome and kind and funny and now we won't get to see him become the wonderful man he was destined to be; instead, forever 17? How can we say his signature sign-off that we have used since his first phone call?.."Goodbye now", little Wiggy,.."Goodbye now", Big Shrig...Goodnight, sweet prince.
