Obituary of Pearl Taylor

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Selina Pearl Taylor (nee Pilkey) announces her peaceful passing at the Ross Memorial Hospital on December 25^th, 2024. Pearl was in her 97^th year and was the beloved wife for 67 years of the late Ivan Taylor. Loving mother of Joseph (the late Carol) Taylor, Judy (John) Joyce, Jayne (Martin) Bircher, and John Taylor (Jody King). Dear grandma of Lori (Jamie), Tammi-Jo (Chris), Jennifer (Mike), Jason (Marcy), Jillian, Nicholas, Kaitlin and Sara and great grandma of Cassidy, Madison, Lincoln, Coltin, Quintin, Josie, Ashtin, Jorja, Jackie, Jessica, Tegan, Dylan and great great grandma to Tobias and Myla. Predeceased by family members, sister Georgina Stiner (Hillard). Sisters-in-law Fern Redshaw (Alvin), Irene Carnahan (Ron), June Smith (George) and brother-in-law Gord Taylor (Thelma). She will fondly be remembered as Aunt Pearl to many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to call at the THORNE FUNERAL HOME, 109 Laidlaw Street South in Cannington (705-432-2672) on Monday, December 30th, 2024 from 11 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Service at 12 p.m. Reception to follow at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 186, 72 Peace Street, Cannington. Interment will take place at the Claremont Union Cemetery in the spring of 2025.
