Tony Berkers
Entered into rest at the Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay Ontario on Thursday, August 1st, 2013. Anthony (Tony) Berkers, in his 75th year, was the loving father of Kathleen (Les) Eardley, Tammy (Marc) Pilon, Mike Berkers, Katherine (Tyler) Gray and Tony (Erika) Berkers. Devoted grandfather of Deanna (Kevin) Arksey, Matthew Eardley, Ryan Eardley, Leslie Eardley, Amy Perkin, Miranda (Kris) Nickle, Jennifer Armstrong, Jessica (Brandon) Ryan, Vanessa Pilon, Logan Berkers, Owen and James Gray. Also great grandchildren Karlee and Alex Perkin-Eardley, Jessica and Aiden Arksey. Tony came from a family of 17 brothers and sisters. He is survived by Catharina, Charlie, Wilhelmina, Martina, Jerry and Elsie. Predeceased by Jack, Bert, Henry, Nelly, Gertrude, John, Bill, Leo, Bernard and Rita. Dearly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to call at the Thorne Funeral Home, 109 Laidlaw St. S. in Cannington on Sunday, August 4th, 2013 from 2:00 pm until time of Funeral Service in the Chapel at 3:00 pm. Interment of cremated remains will take place at a later date in a family plot near Kenilworth Ontario. As a remembrance, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health Foundation, would be appreciated.
