Mary Thompson
Entered into rest peacefully at Lakeview Manor in Beaverton, comforted by her family, on Tuesday, September 24th, 2013. Mary Catherine Thompson (nee Ross), in her 91st year, was the beloved wife of the late Ivan Lenus Thompson (2011). Loving mother of Anne (Gordon) Tomlinson of Calgary, Arlene Smith (companion Joe Burrows) of Cannington, Brian (Brenda) Thompson of Mount Albert and Blain (Terri-Lynn) Thompson of Sunderland. Dearly remembered by her grandchildrenTanya, David, Stacie (Greg), Donald (Gemma), Amy (Dylan), Jamie, Thomas, Justin, Patricia, Jordan and Colin. Dear sister of Bob (Ruth) Ross of Beaverton. Predeceased by her sister Dorothy and husband Herb Davidson. Friends are invited to call at the Thorne Funeral Home, 109 Laidlaw St. S. in Cannington on Wednesday, September 25th from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Funeral Service on Thursday, September 26th from Trinity United Church, 50 Laidlaw St. S. in Cannington. Visitation in the Church from 1:00 pm until time of Service at 2:00 pm Interment Cedar Vale Cemetery. As a remembrance, donations to Trinity United Church in Cannington or a charity of your choice, would be appreciated.
