Please share a memory of James to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
James Glenn Malcolm October 28, 1932 - October 7, 2013 It is with great sadness that the family of Glenn Malcolm advises the end of Glenn's journey on the morning of October 7th, 2013. Glenn had a wonderful life from his beginning in Locust Hill to his final days in Cannington. The road included years in Markham with family and friends. Glenn had many careers from his start as a brick mason, truck driver and finally with the Markham Fire Department. The fire department was Glenn's second family until his retirement in 1993. Glenn also volunteered for over 25 years with the Cannington Lions and enjoyed all the opportunities to give back to his community. Loved and missed by his wife Barb of 57 years, children Beth and Jim, grandchildren Jason (Ashley), Kristen, Nick and Kyle. Glenn was adored by great grandsons Adrien and Cody. Predeceased by his parents Gordon and Viola Malcolm, siblings Archie, Shirley, Innis, Elgin and Keith. Survived by Floyd, Lavina, Beryl, Enid and Elaine. A "Celebration of Glenn's life" will take place in the Cannington Lions Hall on Sunday, October 27th, 2013 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society, would be appreciated.
