It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our loving father and husband, Robert (Bob) Underwood at Ross Memorial hospital on Thursday December 5th, 2013. Loving husband of 56 years to Ruth (McCartney) Underwood. Leaves behind his children, Sue, Frank (Barb), Steve (Heidi), Darlene (Henry Scully), Joe (Emily Campbell) and Tina. Grandchildren, Rob, Shannon, Michael, Nicole, Kristin, Lauralei, Karl, Richard, Mark, Christopher, Amber, Leanne, Raegan, Tory, Delaney and Addison. Great Grandfather of Nicholas, Logan, Madison, Keegan, Kolbie, Logan, Alexis. Heartfelt thanks to Dr Wolf and the 3rd Floor nursing staff for the care and compassion they showed our father and our family during his final days. Predeceased by siblings, George, Jack, Fred, Millie, Elsie, Lil, Olive, Fran and Helen. In lieu of flowers donations to Ross Memorial Palliative Care Unit would be much appreciated. Friends are invited to call at the Thorne Funeral Home, 109 Laidlaw St.S. in Cannington on Sunday, December 8, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm.
