Johnston, Sarah (Sadie)
Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 11th, 2013 at Parkview Nursing Home in Stouffville at the age of 102. Sadie Johnston (nee Dure) was the beloved wife of the late Roy Johnston (1995). Loving mother of David (Christine) Johnston and proud grandmother of Danielle. Predeceased by her sisters Laura Cotton and Eva Randall and daughter-in-law Corinne. Special thank you to the staff and physicians who cared for Sadie for many years at Parkview Nursing Home. Friends are invited to call at the Thorne Funeral Home, 109 Laidlaw St.S. in Cannington on Tuesday, December 17th, 2013 from 10:00 am until time of Funeral Service at 11:00 am. Interment Cedar Vale Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimers Society or Trinity United Church in Cannington, would be appreciated.
