Obituary of Robert Hurlbert

Hurlbert, Bob Entered into rest surrounded by his family at Soldier's Memorial Hospital in Orillia on Saturday, January 4, 2014. Robert Allen Hurlbert, in his 80th year, was the beloved husband of Barbara Sanderson for 57 years. Loving father of Roy (Tracey) Hurlbert, Valerie (Glenn) Chessell, Lorraine Hurlbert and Robert (Patricia) Hurlbert. Devoted grandfather of Matthew Delcourt, Genevieve (Mark) Cornell, (Kathleen Chessell predeceased), Michelle Chessell, Michael Chessell, Felicia Mawdsley, Cassandra Hurlbert and Thomas Hurlbert. Dearly remembered by his great grandchildren Nevaeh and Kara-Leigh Delcourt and Angelique and Wyatt Cornell. Dear brother of Velma (Peter) Perrault and the late Beulah (and George) Avery. Dearly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to call at the Thorne Funeral Home, 109 Laidlaw St.S. in Cannington on Monday, January 6, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service from Trinity United Church, 50 Laidlaw St.N. in Cannington on Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at 11:00 am. Interment Cedar Vale Cemetery. As a remembrance, donations to the Cancer Society, Heart & Stroke Foundation, Sick Kids Hospital or the ICU at Soldier's Memorial Hospital in Orillia, would be appreciated.
