My condolences to the whole family. I am sorry to have to say goodbye to Auntie Ruth. As one of her many nieces and nephews, I can remember going to the farm when younger, playing in the yard and having some wonderful meals. In spite of some hardship the last few years, her strength rarely seemed to fade. Her great sense of humour and wit was always evident - you had to be quick to keep up with her! At this summer's family reunion she was happy to see everyone, and we were all hugely entertained by her great-grandson Carson! You could see that she was proud of her children, grand-children and newest family member Carson. She will be missed by us all. Love, Debbie Smith

My thoughts and condolences are with all of you at this sad time. I too had the pleasure of knowing Ruth for 12 years. I will always remember Ruth for her quick wit and sense of humour. There were many laughs and funny moments shared by many staff with Ruth. I can remember two in particular to share. I was about to tell Ruth a story about how the doctor that delivered me also delivered my nephew. I said to her, "The doctor that delivered me....." and before I could say any more she said, "quit?" Another time I was helping Ruth to get comfortable in bed and rolled her towards me. She jokingly said, "Don't drop me" and I said, "don't worry Ruth, I have been working here for many years and I am drop free" to which she responded, "I don't want to be the fourth." I will remember her laugh, smile, sense of humour and love for chocolate milkshakes. She had great love for her family and would talk about Carson visiting and share a recent picture of him. Ruth will be greatly missed and fondly remembered. May special memories of this wonderful lady help and comfort you in this difficult time.

My condolences to your family on the passing of Ruth. I have been blessed to have been part of your Mom's life for the past 12 years. She will be truly missed. I will remember how she loved her RED salmon and how she hated the thoughts of liver. She was a very bright spot in our day and a great player in our quiz games. We had to go some to stump her on any question. Ruth always liked to reminisce about family and friends and was very proud of all of her family. Carson has sure been a bright spot in Great-Grandma's life and she loved him so much. We will miss your visits as well. It is always sad when we must say goodbye to those we love. I know that Ruth is happy to be with Les again and that no liver will be served. Take care my friends. God Bless.

My thoughts are with you during this difficult time. I had the pleasure and honor of getting to know Ruth for that past 12 years. She was also so kind and caring. Ruth was very proud of her children and grandchildren. It was always so nice to hear stories of Heather, Eric Leeane and Graham. She was fun to talk to and we shared a lot of giggles over the beaver river, cold water and many other things. I will miss her! Ruth always made me feel important and I hope that she always felt loved and respected by me as well!! Ruth will live on in our hearts!! You're truly a wonderful family and I will miss seeing you walk in the doors of Bon Air too! You are one of the most caring dedicated families I know not only in your family life but out in the community as well. Thank you for allowing me to be part of your lives.
