Joye Currie
Devoted Sunderland Public School teacher for 34 years
Entered into rest suddenly at her residence in Cannington on Saturday, March 5th, 2011. Joye Marie Currie (nee Taylor, in her 65th year, was the beloved wife of Wayne Currie. Loving mother of Darren Currie of Bradford and Amber Currie and her husband Rob Mitchell of Oshawa. Dear sister of Dr. Gary Taylor (Bonnie) of Gravenhurst and Gail Taylor (Roslyn) of Manitoulin Island. Cherished nana of Paige, Jessica, Garrett and Ronan. Friends are invited to call at the Thorne Funeral Home, 109 Laidlaw St.S. in Cannington, on Friday, March 11th from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Celebration of Joye's life will be held in the Chapel on Saturday, March 12th, 2011 at 2:00 pm. Interment of cremated remains will take place at a later date. As a remembrance, donations to Cannington Public Library or the Heart & Stroke Foundation, would be appreciated.
