Denton Murray Brown
Dent, age 83, went to be with his Lord early on Saturday, January 12, 2013 at Lakeview Manor in Beaverton. Born to Merten and Dais (Murray) Brown on January 15, 1929 in East York. Dent and his younger brother Neil grew up in East York. Dent married Carley Grove in May 1952 and they farmed in Markham Township where they raised their 3 children, David (Kathy), Susan (Dave) and Beth (Neil). They have been in the Cannington area for the last 30 years. Dent was known by his strong Christian faith and love for his family. Blessings in his life were 9 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. Friends are invited to call at the Thorne Funeral Home, 109 Laidlaw St.S. in Cannington on Wednesday, January 16th from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Service to Celebrate Dent's life will be held at Emmanuel Community Church, 1680 Reach St. in Port Perry on Thursday, January 17, 2013 at 11:00 am. Interment at Victoria Square United Church Cemetery in Markham on Thursday at 3:30 pm. As a remembrance, donations to Lakeview Manor in Beaverton or the Cannington Baptist Church Mission, would be appreciated
