It is with broken hearts the family announces the unexpected passing of Brock on Sunday, October 24th, 2021 just shy of his 16th birthday. Brock Marshall, beloved son of Rick and Diane Marshall. Loving older brother of Della and Tess. Loved grandson of Larry and Sylvia Farrell, Penny and Dave Nielsen and Ted and Kelli Marshall. Cherished nephew of Victoria and Paul Jackson, Lynne and Mike Middaugh, Brian and Ady Farrell, Bill and Laurie Farrell, Bob and Thea Farrell and Paul and Nery Marshall. Adored cousin of Cole, Michael, Alex, Clint, Martey, Anna, Mandy, Danielle, Emma, Gavin, Sydney, Gwendalyn, Aby and Ashlyn. Brock will be missed and forever remembered by all of his friends.
Brock was incredibly enthusiastic. He had an outgoing personality and a great sense of humour; he loved to entertain and perform his catwalks around town. He loved the great outdoors and enjoyed mountain biking, dirt biking, 4 wheeling, snowmobiling and would never turn down an opportunity to go fishing or hunting. He was a hardworking and dedicated young man. For the past four years, he took pride in working on the farm at Brethour Stables. He was a fierce and fun competitor in both high level hockey and rugby, recently picked to play with Ontario Rugby. Brock was very kind and loving and his endless smile will never be forgotten.
The family of Brock Marshall will receive friends at the THORNE FUNERAL HOME, 109 Laidlaw Street South in Cannington on Thursday, October 28th, 2021 from 6 – 8 p.m. and on Friday, October 29th, 2021 from 2 -4 p.m. and 6 – 8 p.m. In accordance with the directives provided by the Bereavement Authority of Ontario wearing of masks or face coverings by everyone is mandatory as well as practicing social distancing and attendance within the building will be monitored. A private family service to celebrate his life will be held on Saturday, October 30th, 2021. Interment Sunderland Cemetery.
