I am so sorry for your loss, my dear family and friends of Millie. Aunt Millie welcomed me into the family with her open heart and enveloped me with her love. She had a light that shone through in everything she did and every kindness spoken. I treasure the gift of dishcloths she knit for George and I, made with love. I will really miss her.

My sister was a loving, kind person who was adored by her family and friends. When my family and I would visit, she would welcome us with not only warmth and love, but kindness and respect as well. She will truly be sadly missed, but she will always be in our hearts forever. Love your brother Douglas and family.

My most wonderful family memories of childhood revolve around Aunt Millie and Uncle Alair and my cousins. I will always remember her kindness, modesty and generosity. She is definitely my most favourite aunt. I feel very lucky to have been able to visit her while at Kingston General in her last weeks. Her smile still melted my heart. Love you lots and will see you again soon.
