Obituary of Nick Nicholls

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts we announce the unexpected passing of Ron “Nick” Nicholls on Thursday, January 5, 2023, at age 67. Loving husband of Maureen Trodd-Nicholls. Proud Dad of Joe (Marlese), Quinton (Emma), Catherine (Karl), Quade (Mel), Mandy (Jay), and Kendra (Chris). Adoring Grandpa of Ryker and Cash, Anthony and Portia, Ellie, Cruz, Mercedes, Jurnee, and Gage, and Olivia and Jaclyn. Nick will be missed by his siblings, Betty (Gus), Marie (Etienne), and Billy, and his sisters-in-law, Carolyn, and Judy. Predeceased by his brothers Bob, George and Jim. Adored brother-in-law and uncle. The family of Nick Nicholls will receive friends at St. Andrew’s United Church, 10 Church Street North in Sunderland on Tuesday, January 10^th from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Wednesday January 11^th from 10 a.m. followed by a Service in the Church at 11 a.m. Nick was a devoted member of the community, in lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to the Sunderland Lions Club in his honour.
