Obituary of Darlene Allen

Allen, Darlene Entered into rest suddenly at her home in Cannington on Tuesday, January 14, 2014. Darlene Ruth Allen in her 62nd year, was the beloved wife of Marshall Allen. Chosen daughter of the late Ross and Verna Heron. Loved by her daughter Sherry Allen-Gray (husband Gerald Gray) and grandchildren Elisabeth, Tyler and Brooke (children of Colin Woods) and by her daughter Sandy Frankland (husband Tyler Frankland) and twin grandsons Logan and Callan. Dearly remembered by her only sister Gayle Brown. Darlene was looking forward to the soon arrival of her first great grandchild whom Elisabeth has already named Hayven. Friends are invited to call at the Thorne Funeral Home, 109 Laidlaw St. S. in Cannington, on Saturday, January 18, 2014 from 1:30 pm until time of Funeral Service in the Chapel at 2:30 pm. A reception will follow at the Cannington Legion Hall hosted by the staff at Bon Air Nursing Home. Interment of cremated remains will take place at a later date at Erskine Cemetery in Pickering.
